I can just thank God for a mute button on my phones at work!

I have had a rough couple of nights, cramping, the big d, at work I closed at 930 and had to be back at 830 am. So when I got home last night I wanted a hot bath for my aching back as soon as I started that I got a call from my mom and their golden was having a seizure. Left to get them to the ER vet as it is in a out of the way place- got home at 2, fell asleep about 4am. Woke up at 715. On my way to work I started that cramping, painful, cant sit kind of pressure pain. Ran into the bathroom- public bathroom locked. Made it into the store just in time.

Ok, thats over or is it? Nope got all my reports printed and it starts all over again.

So I have learned with that cute little mute button you can take a conference call while sitting on the toilet, taking notes etc....

So yes, I hit a new low today, soon I need to be able to say enough is enough this isn't working for me and something needs to change big time!

Oh yes, the mute button is AWESOME! lol..... My Mom and husband have the worst timing, usually calling me when I am on the toilet or otherwise indisposed haha.

Glad you made it through, we sure do have to laugh sometimes.....either that or scream/cry!

Hah, I had something somewhat similar happen yesterday. I was in the basement at work and I had to use the restroom. I get almost zero cell phone reception in the basement - my phone will ring and I can receive texts, but I can't answer my phone or make outgoing calls or send texts. It turns out that's a good thing because my phone started chirping while I was on the toilet! :p In that case it was a good thing that I couldn't answer it!

Sorry you had such a crummy time

I've been extremely lucky.. By some miracle everytime I've had issues with my gut and I'm with a patient I'm able to hold it really well haha.. Even tho I can tell it will be awful once I finally release.. haha. I had one patient that wouldn't stop talking after their exam and I was in desperate need of a bathroom, but just grinned and acted like nothing was wrong (in my head however I'm thinking oh my goodness the talking will never end!) lol.. Thankfully the bathroom is connected to our xray room and seriously like 10 steps away from where we do our exams.
