My recipe is really simple. It doesn't involve extracting into a fat but it works for me.
So, I use a vaporizer. I keep a coffee grinder specifically for my MJ and grind it up really fine and only vape it until it turns a golden color. I have a container I save my vaped remains in and I use that to cook with. I have no issues with fiber and by the time it gets to my mouth its in powder form anyway so I don't think it would create a problem with anyone that had fiber problems.
By the time I'm ready to make a batch of brownies, I've saved up about 30 grams of post-vape.
I just get a regular box of brownie mix. I've tried the gluten free brownie mix before but it turned out really dry despite the huge amount of coconut oil I used.
Anyway, follow the directions on the box. A typical box of brownies will call for vegetable oil and an egg. I like to use coconut oil instead. It's more stable to cook with, doesn't oxidize like vegetable oil, and it has all those yummy saturated fats to suck up all the awesomeness that the plant has to offer.
Once you've thrown in all the ingredients and your post-vape, add an extra 1/3 cup of coconut oil because adding in the post-vape will make the recipe very dry. You could add an extra egg instead to make it more fluffy but I like fudge-like brownies and the more coconut oil, the better.
Pour your brownie mix into a mini muffin tray. I like to use a mini muffin tray because it will make the brownies cook faster especially because you're going to be cooking at a temp much lower (280º) than what it states on the box.
Check the brownies in 20 minutes. If they aren't done, check again in another 10 minutes.
The brownies are going to taste like chocolate MM. Some people don't like the taste of MM but I think it's delicious. Sometimes I add ground up coffee for an added punch. But remember with each dry ingredient you add, the dryer your brownie will be, so you must add extra moisture via oil or egg.
So, that's my "recipe". Sorry if it's so chaotic and weird but it works for me! My little mini brownies are ultra potent. I've had a batch where I could only start off eating a quarter of a mini brownie at a time but by that time I had saved a mixture of several very potent strains of MM. I suggest no matter what quality of cannabis you are using, just start out small so you don't eat too much and have a bad time! Try a quarter first, then if it's not enough, next time eat half!
Thanks for starting this thread, FrancisK7. I'm sure you have much better methods of doing this than what I've shared here and I look forward to hopefully more people sharing their methods of cooking with cannabis.
