Tons of diarrhea lately -- going 12 times a day.

The Questran doesn't really work that well. I have some limited success downing Metamucil with a Kaopectate chaser, but still not where I want it to be.

Little bit of gastric pain too.

Thank god for Calmoseptine.

Sorry to hear of your miserable problem.
Are you able to eat anything like egg dishes?
Hope youy will soon feel a bit better.
Are there any other meds you can take?

Thanks.

Not on any Crohn's meds at the present time. Tylenol for the arthritis and my vitamins.

Could be a long wait to see a Rheumatologist. My GP thinks Humira for the Ankylosing Spondylitis might help me, but it could be months before I get a prescription.

The inflamation emanates from the sacroiliac joint. Could be that it mimics some Crohn's symptoms (being in the same general area). I dunno.

Appreciate the support.

I know this sounds corny but Banana's and rice (not at the same time tho) will help slow down some. Yes, thank God for Calmoseptine, it is a Crohnie's butt favourite cream! Hope you get it under control soon ok.

Matamucil with a Kaopectate chaser eh? I think my system would pretty much sense an immediate assault and quickly usher all that stuff straight out the back door! Isn't it amazing that they haven't figured out how to make us less runny with this disease without messing our insides up? I think you should go poach yourself in a hot tub for a bit - maybe at least then you'd be sunny side up :O) Hope you feel better soon.....

I hope you feel better. I hope Humira does the trick. It's too bad you have such a long wait still.

Sorry to hear things are going so rough for you, i hope the humira treatment can get sped up quickly for you! :(

How did you come out of your last flare? I was surprised to read that you aren't on any other meds.
Hope you get to feeling better and your Humira gets approved quickly.

I was on Entocort for a few months in the summer and it cleared things up. I stopped taking the Asacol in the fall.

I've been stress-free and eating well lately (avoiding the typical holiday excess), so this time around I'm not sure what to make of it.
