Had to turn on the heat today. So not looking forward to a heating bill. Supposed to be only in the 40’sF all week with rain a few days. Glad you all can get out and enjoy the weather.

You sure have that right about being unreliable. Sometimes I can eat something that has never bothered me before and this time it does bother. A bit.cooler here today but still pretty nice. Take care all.

Good morning all. What a change for me today. Yesterday my prednisone was taperEd a bit more and I actually slept all night for the. first time in weeks. What a nice feeling. Everything else seems to be going well. Regular bm very little pain. Hope you are all doing well and have a good day.

I had never heard of enteral nutrition I read about it here on the forum. I was looking up if there is an organic brand I could be using.

Yes westernbuddy the inflammation seems to be going away. Happy dance! No pain today at all. I am hoping for the same resUlysses once once prednisone. To just get better and better. My body loves me when I can stay home and cook my own meals.

day 2 a bit of pain, 2 bm so far 1 formed 1 not, a bit of stomach discomfort but all in all doing alright. Hope tomorrow is more like the first day. We will see,

Today I finally feel like I turned the corner. No pain today, 1 bm and started prednisone taper also. Will have to see how the next few days/weeks go as I taper off and body does the healing work on its own.

I agree you do need a diagnosis. I manage my crohn’s without medication but I do have flares. However they usually take steroids to get them under control. I pretty much follow a plant based organic diet. The scd diet also but not to a T. The longest so far I have gone without a flair on this...

thanks for the info. Yes I have had many MRI and CT scans. I live in the US. It just bothers me that the GI won’t offer me anything other then biologics even when I tell him I would rather not take them.

I also had bad hair loss. Mine was due to very low iron. I had 2 iron infusions and the hair loss is gone. I would ask the doctor about your iron levels.
