misty I must conceed that my statement on rna isolation is through many independent studies ive read up on, unfortunately whatever I read, due to the nature of our illness, someone somewhere will read something to counter it. Its my belief that as nothing is concrete with crohns then every...

Have you noticed where crohns is more prominent

i guess it interests me because the countries i speak of are at the forfront of medicene and have great state and national health systems. id like to know how some of the less fortunate countries cope with their crohns if indeed they suffer largely from it with regards to surgery, treatments...

you may be correct bergy and i agree. but if you think about just exactly how many types of crohns there are or how many different ways it effects the parts of the body in each individual then it would be fair to say that in theory there could be several different causes which would denote each...

Have you noticed where crohns is more prominent

someone on here earlier made a great point that has slipped my attention before. she asked had i noticed that crohns seemed to be more widespread and prominent in the UK, USA and australia. shes actually got a valid point. i wondered if anyone has any theories or better still, actual facts as to...

im certainly not suggesting that its that simple. im simply suggesting that if you ask enough people, youll see that a lactose free diet has helped them with there symptoms no end. im not saying everyone will benefit. and i do not believe MAP itself is soley responsible for the cause of crohns...

i dont think its so much that lactose free milk contains MAP, i think its more that MAP feeds on lactose therefore can breed and strengthen. so if you take away the lactose (MAP's food source) the bacteria will die naturally thus meaning less inflamation and tissue damage when our gut tries to...

you will be sedated for that proceedure and although maybe not the desirable proceedure it is possibly the quickest and most effective way of diagnosing lower obstructions or narrowing.

    Question? ?????

i would be inclined to say the preds are causing the side effects as its not uncommon and i dont think 55mg on a taper isnt strong enough. it seems like a reasonable dosage for the beginning of a cycle

    Adivice :-D &/help

ok first of all hi. sorry to hear of your predicament. unfortunately there is no way to push your specialists in a particular direction although most of us would have loved that option. if you are diagnosed with crohns then please dont listen to the "plastic professionals", what would they know...

    Are we being serious here?!?

i am not a great lover of humira at all but i know of all the side effects it can cause, constipation is very uncommon umongst its users so i wouldnt readily suggest that as the cause. do you take anything with the humira or have you introduced any new pain relief? i notice you take tramadol...

Rifaximin is a favourite julie although combined antibiotics have been used such as, clarithromycin, rifabutin, and clofazimine on a two year period but proved to have no sustained benefits. so far I am finding it very hard to research where the M.A.P is introduced to our body as there seems to...

    Finally diagnosed - help please!

absolutely julie. great tip on the ibuprofen too. in fact id say steer clear of any codiene based pain relief for now and understand that as effective as tramadol is, it can slow down your stomach and cause constipation. if this happens dont take strong laxatives out of frustration. one 5 mg...

    Finally diagnosed - help please!

hey sorry to hear youve ended up here with us lot lol. im afraid to say you have a very long road ahead of you now but believe me once you have this mastered it does get easier. the cramping in your lower stomach will be caused purely by your inflamation which may at this time be quite narrow...
