Cant we all help them figure this out?

That is a great story Crabi. I think people tend to blame the Drs in cases like this, but in reality Dr's are very restricted on what they can do because of how are legal system functions and how people sue of every damn thing these days. If that case didn't work out, you probably could have...

    My journey to getting well

what is odd, is that the CD treat diet looks pretty effective for Crohns. A primary staple of that diet is eggs. But you have identified eggs as giving you issues.

AIEC as the cause for Crohns? Calling Kiny!

LOL, well, maybe. I think Kiny has long said that she thinks the research shows AIEC. So I wouldn't call it flavor of the month per se.

AIEC as the cause for Crohns? Calling Kiny!

I don't think its necessarily just sugar, its carbs also. I think people have had good success on a no carb diet. But I don't think a low carb diet is sustainable for most people which makes it a challenge.

Senolytics reduce gut inflammation in mice

Hey wayward, any reason why you don't just take the 100mg per day instead of going down the 20mg/kg route? I know the study did 20mg/kg.

    FECAL TRANSPLANTS: A Guide

I only say that because there was that one case of a cancer patient who had his immune system/microbiome wiped out by the cancer treatment which also fixed his crohns. Now, there is likely way more going on, but I thought it would be an interesting combo.

    FECAL TRANSPLANTS: A Guide

I think they should try and eradicate someone's micribiome first then reinstall a new one with fat. Just reset it all.

3 Questions For a Nutritionist (what are yours?)

My GI actually recommended on my prescription Tumeric and Aloe vera (AMP 500 to be precise). Although AMP is expensive so I wonder if he had a stake in the company. I don't take the AMP because it is cost prohibitive and I am not sure it had any benefit, meaning, my symptoms didn't change at...

3 Questions For a Nutritionist (what are yours?)

Hey T bone, I wouldn't get angry at the dr. You have to understand, that countries have so many rules and regulations limiting what a dr. can do. Insurance companies limit what a dr. can do. Dr.s are really in a tough spot when it comes to tough medical conditions. I don't fault the at...
