Untreated Crohn's is far scarier than the potential side effects of azathioprine in my opinion. With that said, in my opinion, he should have left you on those meds while waiting for the aza to reach optimal levels in your system.

Hi Dan, Based upon all the test results and everything you've described, I suspect you do indeed have Crohn's. I personally advocate a top down approach to treatment meaning I'd use the big guns first.
