Have been to the Saturday craft fair at our Victorian railway station today.
I bought a lovely ornament of a Red deer stag,about 18ins tall.I'm really pleased with it.
I got a bar of honeycombe and chilli dark chocolate too.I would bring it to the party,but it's really not for sharing.Sorry. And a ginger layer cake.I might bring that,well half of it anyway.Winning with satisfaction.
 
Well my boat sank blooming typical. Gota get re supplied n hitch the rest of the way. Oh well be there asap. 😃

Sorry the boat sank...they don't make them like they use to Mandyk....still you survived but then we are all survivors on this site...

Well Trysha i found him in my crazy mind...the flying speed is around 100 mph. We do have to stop for grass refueling fairly often tho. Such a lovely way to fly tho and he even talks wow !!!
So winning with magic 😃
 
We went for a walk to beach takes about a minute. Wolf followed us on the walk just like a dog.

I'd love some of that driftwood Kirsty ,so if you could just take a ton or so to Trevs,I'll get it when I come for the party.Or you could send it C.O.D.if you like.
 
Our beach gets the wash up from one of NZ big rivers. What will you do with a ton of driftwood?

Just changed to oil in the motorhome, now covered in dirty smelly diesel oil, how did I put up with being a mechanic for 40 years, must have been mad. I hope you guys aren't spending too much on my Xmas gifts this year.... A bigger boat would be nice...

Lesson for today, don't let hubby assemble metal shelving unit in garage. I've just had three shelves fall on my head. I've since started to bolt the shelves to the cabinet. He'd bolted the main unit and sat the shelves on top of the bolts.
 
I'm still flapping my arms/wings like an eagle. Love the feel of the wind in my face. Getting ready for the final glide in, leaving most of the snow in Utah (just bringing a little for Mandy and those that want some), where we expect up to another three feet! Trev wants a new boat, what does everyone else want? Can't wait to see the unicorn and all of you. :ghug:

Kirsty,I'd make arty-farty stuff with the driftwood.Picture frames,wind chimes,plant pots,fruit bowls.I love natural wood of any kind,and I like to wonder where the driftwood came from and what it saw when it was alive......I really must get out more,I know.

I could make Trev, a bigger boat or a raft. Winning artistically !!!
 
Driftwood we've found on our travels lines my flower beds outside and frames pictures on my wall inside. Fun stuff. I survived the selfish and rude holiday crowds so I'm on my way. Have the toddies ready. 😊

There are a couple of white tree trunks that have been washed up. Is that what you are seeing. A long white tree trunk?

I survived the crowds too, relatively unscathed considering how crazy they were. I normally hate crowds, but I decided I would just try to smile and give people a little sunshine, whether they liked it or not. When driving, I would let people in when others wouldn't, I feel like I did my good deed for the day. Then I got home and rearranged the furniture. I'm exhausted, but happy! (It's nice to be able to do something besides throw up and feel totally exhausted. I don't know why that seems to be reversing, but it is! )
I'm still bringing healing gifts for all of you. 💜💛💚

I lied. Yesterday I ended up at the urgent care facility with another (~sigh~) UTI, according to the doctor one of the worst he has ever seen. Then I topped the day off with nausea and throwing up again. :voodoo: :voodoo: :voodoo: Still waiting for test results, the physician's assistant never called me back yesterday. :mad2::mad2::mad2:

Still working, have to work tomorrow, then I'm off for 1 day and back on Saturday then off for one day and back on Monday. What a way to go! Miss spending time here and wishing only good things for all of you for Christmas and the New Year.

Hi Kristy, was going flying today, but the wind got a up, fishing tomorrow. Then going away for a few days, what are your plans?
 
At Ma's and pas now, then off to see a friend. Back up Coast tonight. Watching cricket on Boxing Day and then off to hawkes bay for six nights. Merry Christmas to you and Deb. I look forward to seeing you again at end of jan :)

Well I had to look at the calendar to check what day it is.Holidays really confuse me nowadays.I'm an efficient organised little soul and I like everything in it's right place.
Which for me, so far today, is the bathroom.
Planning a walk soon,past all the public loos,but there is a chance they'll be closed, it being the hols.I imagine the powers that be think every one has a healthy innards.
I wish !!! and I win.

I'm still at the party. Made clam chowder (with Doug's help) last night for a small part of my family, and those here in New Zealand. That seemed to sit well in my tummy. May all your tummies be ever improving, as well as anything else that needs healing. And may all stay safe and away from weather catastrophies. It is bitter cold in Utah today, but we are safe and warm. (Perhaps because we are in NZ. :ylol:)
 
Sorry it's cold in Utah Sandy. We ALMOST had a white xmas here in Florida. Just 55 degrees cooler and rainy and it would have snowed. :ycool:

Here for a 4:00am check. I fell asleep in a recliner chair, woke up and groggily went to bed, laid down and zing, I'm wide awake:eek2:
 
And David, I'd take our bitter cold over hot, muggy weather any day. But it would be nice to live near the ocean. Hugs.

There are plenty of outfits here in the frozen north that will insulate and keep you toasty warm
I was just out in the freezing cold with snow swirling around me completely insulated from cold....it was quite a walk with the wind gusting almost took me off my feet.
Better than ice rain though.

We were going on holiday on boxing day, finally got away today, staying at the beach tonight, leaving in the morning as I am over the kids on motor bikes racing around the camp all day. I must be getting old.
 
Now the roads are full of "Silver Cyclers" including me,very soon.

I have the paramedics on speed dial'

We have Walmart which is the sister of ASDA.
I wish we still had the little shops that had regular and exclusive designs
So cold and icy here today but turning to ice rain later......one bright spot the sun is trying to get through the clouds and succeeding.
When the ice melts I will go for a refreshing walk.......well insulated of course.
Like Carol I have difficulty knowing which day of the week it is...

It's a bit early for summer stuff Kirsty,you'll have to wait until they clear the shelves of the Christmas crap.
 
I hope that each and everyone of you had a great Christmas with the people that you love and that the New Year brings you happiness and better health. It's my year end at work so not sure if I'll get back before then but I'm thinking happy thoughts for all of you and miss you all.....:ghug::drink:
