Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

Taking one of the current treatments is far more profitable in the long run. You are never done with them as they are not curative. There are many possible outcomes but one is they are bought out and get the patents and sit on it. Dan

Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

There are very few GI’s aware of Low dose naltrexone either. Not because its any worse than any other treatment but because there are no drug reps promoting it. In this case its too cheap for any pharmaceutical company to even bother with. It would replace more profitable drugs. Treatments...

Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

Even if they get the results they are hoping for, its a long uphill battle to unseat the giants selling their numerous temporary fix products. The profit motive will encourage Qu biologics to develop their product as it is not replacing a more profitable product they have already. However...

Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

Man or woman, he or she (I think she is a woman) has an unusually logical thought process. That is why I am always interested in what she has to say. Her treatment would reflect this and that piques my interest. I am always interested in another angle of attack on this disease...

Remicade anti-TNF therapy has not yielded expected declines in hospitalisation and intestinal resection rates in inflammatory bowel diseases

Well, these type of treatments basically accomplish what I would expect given the nature of the disease. Temporary relief. What is interesting to me is that the authors go out on a speculative limb, without any evidence at all, and indicate that improper use or compliance using the drug may...

    Ruminococcus gnavus

Never heard of the particular bacterium before but it is interesting. https://m.medicalxpress.com/news/2019-06-reveals-microbe-molecular-role-crohn.html I will be targeting it in a few days using a frequency treatment based on it’s partially sequenced DNA profile. Once it has been fully...

How do you manage leaving the house

Do you take cholestyramine? If you are not badly flared, it works well. I am missing my ilium and a fairly important valve located there as well. I can function pretty normally although even cholestyramine won’t work if you are badly flared. Dan

LDN (How to get your doctor to prescribe it)

I just went to a doctor who already prescribed LDN. Its much easier to get your prescription refilled by another doctor once someone has already prescribed it. They might not think its the best treatment but nobody ever refused to refill the prescription either. Dan

    Carbon 60

Here is an interesting discussion with a former NASA engineer on how Carbon 60 can impact Alzheimer’s disease & Macular degeneration and other info. https://youtu.be/6RN_oEazhXg I don’t use this particular product. Dan

    Carbon 60

My son is also keeping a record of his results which will be far more detailed. I will post that after a longer period of time. I am taking it also but I really do not have any symptoms to resolve any longer. It does seem to be working on something in my lower left quadrant in my guts. Can...

    Carbon 60

I am using Bob Greska’s at www.C-60.com The reason being his is food grade as his process does not use Toluene or any other solvents. You can effectively remove most all solvents after processing but not 100%. I just do not want any impurities especially solvents. Not sure it matters but I am...

    Carbon 60

There are four of my family member that have been using Carbon 60 for a few days now for various reasons. The one I am going to focus on here is my son who is in his early thirties and has hidradenitis suppurativa. It started in his teenage years and has never left him since. As many of...

    Carbon 60

I have come across this product that has some amazing properties. It is a super antioxidant, slows down aging by lengthening telomeres, kills many pathogens by way of sacrificing electrons and also brings your mitochondria back to functioning to there best potential. The one thing that really...

    Ileostomy reversal soon

Pretty much unformed and loose. A lot of that in my case is caused by drinking a lot of coffee though out the day. Since its an irritant it probably accounts for a lot of that. There is no doubt that it will not be as it was. Dan

    Ileostomy reversal soon

I had a reversal and lost the ileocecal valve. Yes, even though I have no inflammation or any sign of Crohns, the lack of the valve does have drawbacks. If you are flared, you will not be able to go anywhere without being in close proximity of a bathroom. You have less control and when you...

Will I ever live a productive life with crohns>

Thats rough Bufford. I woke up after surgery with an illiostomy bag. Luckily it was reversed months later. We rearranged my life also. Just realized it was time to quit burning the candle at both ends. There is a life after Crohns. We just are never sure where it will bring us. Dan

Will I ever live a productive life with crohns>

It is possible. I had plenty of misery and just about died of sepsis due to fistulas. That was 2012. Its now 2019 and I have no hint of it since that year. You can find your way through this. Dan

    Wondering about Olestyr

It is my understanding that it is not a Crohn’s treatment. It does slow down the intestines and block cholesterol. It originally was a cholesterol medication. Its the only medication I take. I take four grams once a day because my ileum was removed and a pretty important valve is no longer...
