48 hour simple diet? Good idea?

I am undiagnosed but I have been in a lot of pain the last few days due to poor diet choices on the weekend. (Having beer and deep dish pizza).

Would a plain diet of Rice, Bannanas, yogurt and plain toast for 48 hours help at all? Or is that not enough time? Thanks!

My pain is mainly soreness in my intestines like they are inflamed or something, but no diarrhea.
 
Going simple for a few days is a great idea. Try some bone broth and see how you feel. Nice to dunk some plain toast in. Beer is very acid-forming.
 
Greasy pizza and beer- I feel crook already. Nym's right, a bit of bone broth. My calmer of choice is some poached lean chicken with rice. Save the water you poached the chook in and use it for cooking the next load of rice or just as broth. Bananas I find as gentle food- yoghurt though esp. when I'm in a bad way swells me up like a space hopper.
