Hello everybody!
The 7th was my 6 month anniversary. Oh how time flies. Unfortunately I am still seeing the surgeons team on a regular basis. STILL having all the same discharge that I've had ever since my op. Sad thing is, I'm just used to it now!The good thing is that the hospital are doing something about it. Had an MRI scan the other month and then got to see the actual big dog surgeon at my last visit. He says I do have a collection of fluid that needs draining. He said that once it's all drained and dry, all my other holes will heal up and I shall do great. The trouble is, is that he doesn't know the best way to drain it. Either I'll go to radiology and they shall drain it with some large needle through my lady cave, or I'll have to have an op and have a drain put in. He doesn't know what's best to do but doesn't want to open my bum wound. Plus I'd have to have the drain out of my side or something. Either option doesn't sound great. He's going to bring it up at a case meeting and let me know the decision.
In other news, I'm feeling great. Think I had a partial blockage at the weekend. Had huge stomach crap pain but not around my stoma, on the other side? Has anyone else experienced that? I hadn't eaten anything particularly bad either. Really wish I could exercise again though and trying hard not to overeat as I want to cut down a few pounds. Also still rather tired a lot of time but considering not everything can heal, not surprising, I guess.
Still love my bag. Nothing new there though lol.
