Hello everybody!

The 7th was my 6 month anniversary. Oh how time flies. Unfortunately I am still seeing the surgeons team on a regular basis. STILL having all the same discharge that I've had ever since my op. Sad thing is, I'm just used to it now!The good thing is that the hospital are doing something about it. Had an MRI scan the other month and then got to see the actual big dog surgeon at my last visit. He says I do have a collection of fluid that needs draining. He said that once it's all drained and dry, all my other holes will heal up and I shall do great. The trouble is, is that he doesn't know the best way to drain it. Either I'll go to radiology and they shall drain it with some large needle through my lady cave, or I'll have to have an op and have a drain put in. He doesn't know what's best to do but doesn't want to open my bum wound. Plus I'd have to have the drain out of my side or something. Either option doesn't sound great. He's going to bring it up at a case meeting and let me know the decision.

In other news, I'm feeling great. Think I had a partial blockage at the weekend. Had huge stomach crap pain but not around my stoma, on the other side? Has anyone else experienced that? I hadn't eaten anything particularly bad either. Really wish I could exercise again though and trying hard not to overeat as I want to cut down a few pounds. Also still rather tired a lot of time but considering not everything can heal, not surprising, I guess.

Still love my bag. Nothing new there though lol.

I was thinking of you today Michelle. I knew you were still having issues with the drainage. I sure hope they can sort it. Neither of those brill ideas of his sounds very nice. However, I guess if you think long term...

It would be good to have it all over and done with so you can, ya know, ...

And then, nothing but good things in the future! But yeah, why do we still get blockages sometimes? Last one I had on Tues at 2am was partial, only thing I can think is I didnt chew enough? Been on Ensure only since. Just in case. Did you have steak or something?

I think of you every time I pass your house! Lol. In a non-stalker way, obviously!

Yes, I just want it sorted. At least the area doesn't hurt much anymore although still bleeds at times. No! It came on in the afternoon and I had nothing special for breakfast or lunch. Plus why would I get a blockage that's not near my stoma? Paranoid now when I don't get any output for a few hours lol. Ahh. How can I eat healthily without risking another one? Pffttt as much as I do like a good excuse to eat lots of carbs.

Lady cave---hahaha!

Sucks that you are still dealing with this issue, but hooray! that someone is devising a plan.
