Very interesting!!! I've also read in a lot of places that a low carb diet is good for Crohn's. I guess the SCD can be considered low carb (it's called specific carb diet). But as most of us are underweight how can we keep our weight without eating carbs especially grains??

Has anyone tried any antifungal medicine or supplement? what is recommended?

Hi pb4
I have periodically taken fluconazole for yeast infections
that I would get really bad. Girls you know what I mean
by really bad. Tried a bunch of creams and pills (OTC med)
Nothing worked untill I got this fluconazole. Just swallow
one pill for one time and it went away. My nurse also suggested
to use plain yogurt you know where. But I just couldn't think of doing that.
It also stated that yeast infection can also be caused from a donor
implant. Well I had to wait for a donor when I had my eye implant.
As I can recall shortly after that transplant was when I had really bad
yeast infections, most likely as a result from the transplant.
So just now I looked up the word fluconazole in medline plus and it
said that you could get a yeast infection due to a transplant plus
various other ways.

Thanks for the info pb4

I am gonna ask my Dr. about Leukine.

As far as the diet goes I pretty much stick with the RAB diet.
It seems to work for me.Some people use the BRAT diet but
I find that eating toast or white bread does not agree with me.

I did a search and found this old thread.

The above article is very informative. I am fighting Thrush right now. I think Candida Yeast is harder on us all than we realize.

I just read this article and it seems to contradict itself. Then I noticed that at the end it links you to a page to buy their products. I looked at a few other articles on this site which all do the same.
To me it just looks like this website is just about sucking you in to buy their rubbish.
