Hi Everybody!
I wanted to tell you that a big part of my healing came as a result of this site and I wanted to say thank you! I had my ostomy surgery 5 years ago, Jan 2010. I'm not sure why psych visits aren't set up both before and especially after surgery. Sure the vicious pain was gone but suddenly I'm looking at a bag of **** on my belly thinking, "FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'M WAY TOO YOUNG TO HAVE THIS! I CAN'T LIVE WITH THIS!" But when I found Crohn's Forum I found so many like minded, some much younger, well adjusted people with some really great outlooks that eased my mind and helped me transition into this new phase of my life. I owe this site so much gratitude and thanks. Sharon J.
