A strange "side-effect"

I got myself some MJ this past Sunday. I've used it a few times to try to help the pain without resorting to my morphine and buscapene combination. It worked wonders, and I really hope this flare up is on its way out!!
But something I have noticed is that when I am totally relaxed on the MJ, my muscles get twitchy. I'm wondering if it's because of the muscular issues that I have or if it's more to do with the strain I am using.
I've never had this before while taking MJ, but I've also never really looked into the strain I am smoking or had anything this good before.
Anyone else ever get this?

That seems to be a relatively common thing while high (some say when very high). I've heard some people saying a taking a daily multivitamin helps. Not sure but it can't hurt to try. Maybe smoke a bit less next time and see if that changes anything.

Please read this thread especially the part where I start to talk about TRE. In my opinion those twitches are the start of the release of stuff we NEED to release and I would suggest relaxing into them and letting it spread if it wants to.

Getting high always makes me move, whether I'm jittery, twitchy, get the chills, fidget, or just need to let out some really bad white guy dancing to the music in my head.

Roll with it.

Yeah, I usually get some twitches right after I smoke. For me, the muscle located just above the knee just starts whillin' out but since I'm stoned I just laugh it off.

Hey yes I have had the twitches before when high and I laughed for about 30 minutes although it only felt like I was laughing for five minutes and I totally cracked myself up. Yeah you may be using more than enough if you are twitching :) haha But you can't really overdose on pot because it is not a toxic substance but just so you know it only takes a small amount to get the medicinal effects from it. Also, you can start to become tolerant to the high so that if you want to get high you need more, but you never become tolerant to the medicinal aspect of pot, the anti-inflammatory effect is always there if you are using it. It is a shame that most people in the United States do not know how valuable it is. I actually think that big pharma companies do know its value and that is why they lobby law makers to keep it outlawed. :(
