Abdominal pain exacerbated by touch?

I noticed after the doctors examination(poking and palpating) my abdominal pain went from discomfort to burning for several hours. Anyone else get this? Is it just from the inflamed bowel being disturbed?

That would be my guess. Say for instance your arm has been torn open and someone comes in and jams their fingers into the open wound. That's gonna hurt at the time and a while after. The same goes with all injuries whether its on the outside or inside. I hated it when the doctor would press on me too cause I knew it was going to hurt. I sure hope you let them know that it hurt at the time and called them up later and told them that it continued hurting for ____ hours afterward. Your doctor needs to be informed of all of your symptoms so you can be treated properly.
