Abnormal Pap smear

Hi I've had crohns for 3 years now. Had my first Pap smear a few weeks ago and my pap came back abnormal, they didn't say how just that there were abnormal cells
After speaking with my girl friends they said that if I had hpv they probably would have said that when they phoned (I've also had the hpv injections, which I know doesn't prevent all hpv)

I'm just highly concerned my nan had abnormal smears for years until she eventually died from bowel cancer...
So you can see why I'm worried, I have my co-po next Monday so I know I will get more answers soon but I was hoping to reach out to some experimeced ladies that can either help prepare me or settle my worries

I too had an abnormal smear a few years ago (after I had my daughter)....had the co-po (not the greatest thing!).....but the doc got everything abnormal out and my next one was normal.....

Good luck with everything - you reminded me I need to make an appointment!
