Anyone else freaking out just a little bit at the thought that this monstrosity might actually get passed? Will be difficult to afford a huge spike in premiums...

Ron, they're talking about the "Affordable Health Care Act" (AHCA) which the GOP is trying to pass to replace the ACA (Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare). The big difference is that the AHCA will remove protections for people with pre-existing conditions, so people like us with chronic illness will either not be able to get insurance or will have to pay a whole lot more for insurance.

BB3000, yes, it's terrifying! Last I read, it sounds like they still don't have enough support for it to pass. Let's hope it stays that way. People are going to die if this passes. Nobody should have to go into financial ruin just to treat a treatable illness.
