Hi all.
So this has been bothering me for awhile, but in light of my recent diagnosis of crohns, I'm not sure if its related. But, does anyone out there have heavy, achy arms while laying down? I try everything to try to relieve the pain but nothing. It keeps me up at night. I am wondering if this has any relation to the crohns or I anyone is getting this, and if so, what can I do about it??

I have very achy and heavy arms they are so tired and I don't even do anything to cause them to get tired. I thought it was from the steriods but when I was at the Dr today he said that it is unlikely I have had terrible body aches since Dec when all this started!!! He said that its the Crohn's my hips are the worse and at night dont sleep well up alot to the bathroom too!!! I took a fall a couple of days ago the feet didn't want to go up the stairs!!!!!

Right now mine is concentrated to my arms, the right one mainly. I can't do a thing to get them comfortable. They hurt and I can feel a sense of pins and needles right down to my fingertips. I mentioned it to my GI and he didn't even acknowledge that I said anything! It's frustrating bc it keeps me up all night. It's a nightmare.

my feet feel like pins and needles at time I think that Crohn's in general is frustrating!!!!!!! Did you go to your family Dr sometime they are a better help then the GI!!

I think I will make an appointment tomorrow. I truthfully don't even think he knows I have crohns yet. I just got diagnosed in May. And your right, the crohns in general IS frustrating!! And the "meal of pills" as I call it, twice a day is
Frustrating as well. I am the type of person who hates to take meds. I have a hard time taking Tylenol! This is a huge game changer for me.
I hope you feel better!!!!

Its a huge change!!! I was also give a Gluten allergic along with the Crohn's so its a big diet change for me!!!!! This Forum helps with all your question and ts nice to see that we are not the only ones that have issues!!!!

I hope you feel better soon too!!!

Are you taking any new medications that might be causing this? I have the problem with the pins and needles feeling but not the heaviness. Do your arms ever go numb or feel like they go to sleep? You may have a circulation issue.

I woke up this morning and could hardly move Is it the Humara or just getting old????? A very sore neck this morning too!!!!!!! Not sure this is new joints and muscles have been sore but not this sore!!!!

I've had achy heavy arms and legs, especially knees, for the last couple months now. Gastro says it isn't crohns or medication related and I'm going for blood tests ordered by my GI this week to see if there is anything there.

It may be that you are B12 deficient this pins and needles and heaviness happens to me just before I get my 3 monthly injection if your crohns is in the ileum in fact throughout your small bowel you may not be absorbing this very important vitamin simple blood test to confirm. Hope this helps
