Advice needed please

So I went to the Doctor because I have got loose poo. I went 2 weeks ago and he said if no better get a sample taken. So I collected the pot and spoon today, and thats it.
So I have a few questions:

How do you use it?
Do you take it back to the hospital?
Can I put the pot in a bag?
Will the Doctor phone me up to tell me the results are in ?

There were no instructions or a bag ot anything, just the pot n spoon. So some information would be cool thanks.

If you call to your doctor or nurse you can pickup a samll kit called a FOB pack. This is a small folding card that has sample spaces on it for smearing your pooh on . You will also be given some small spatulas for collecting the pooh. This then goes in a seasled bag aand is returned to your doc .This is a bout the size of a small enevelope.This is how I did this a few weeks ago. Results take a few weeks.

Depends on what the doctor has said, I would phone up your GP and ask what to do. I know for my hospital you get a form and a bag and you take it directly to the hospital or if you sample is after hours put it in the fridge and take it next morning. You should phone your gp within 7 days or if they get an abnormal resuilts they will contact your normaly. I would get in touch with your GP

could I catch the poop with some toilet paper and then collect it that way.

Then put it a medicine bag and take it to the hospital

Ive looked on the internet and you just put something to catch the poop, then take a sample, the middle bit is done, then take it back to the hospital, Ill just put it in a bag in which medicine comes in or something, because its got a screw top
