Advice please

Hi, I am due to go for my first colonoscopy on Wed 4th and have read some really helpful information on other peoples threads. My partner is planning on taking me away for a week in the sunshine two days after my colonoscopy, I could really do with a nice holiday and with only a short flight dont think it will be too much of a problem. I suppose what I am asking is how people are generally after this procedure other than there normal symptoms?

Normally sleepy the day of but fine the day after. I'd think you'd be fine.

I've always felt good as new afterwards....You should do well.

I am looking forward to the results part of the colonoscopy but not the prep, will keep you posted after the procedure and hopefully I will have some answers! I am really looking forward to a week in the sun relaxing and chilling!

Great to see someone on here that lives near me. I am in Rainham Kent.

I had a this done and then went on holiday to Cornwall two days later. I felt fine, just a bit tired the same day.

Where are you having your procedure? Who is your consultant?

I was tired the rest of the day of it. I was fine the next day. Insides felt a little sore, but not too bad.

Have a FABULOUS time!

After my Colonoscopy I thought I was cured! Didn't poop for nearly a week!!

You should be fine - I think it's probably the best time to travel - just after your insides have been thoroughly cleared out!

directly after my colonscope i was very windy and had to get rid of that gas. but other than that i was finr. oh and have sedation.
