I finally want to be completely better...no back and forth between the cold winter and summer and over the years...after taking more of a backseat over the years, I have been doing tons of research into malabsorption and many othe issues crohns can cause...no more just taking pills and getting sick over and over!:)

So my question is if you had to take every test to rule out other issues in conjuction with your crohns, what would it be? Blood tests, hormone tests, stool tests, and colonscopies etc? For some people, I know they may not need some of these tests and it may be overkill, but at least this gives people a little framework to bring to the doctors, as some of even the basic vitamins both of my G.I. doctors never thought to get tested for and I finally got them to test them and realized how deficient I was.

What I am going to have tested all together:

1)fructose hydrogen test (which i have tested positive for once as a child)
2)Small Intestional Bacterial Overgrowth
3)H.Pylori
4)Celiac Panel
5)Lactose Test
6)Intestinal Permiability
7) Stool tests- fecal fat test, fecal calprotectin, lactoferrin stool test

Blood tests:
-Vitamins: D,K,d6, A,E,, Zinc,D3,Magnesium,Ferratin, Calcium,B12 (i always test for this because i am low)
-Analyse, Lipase, GGT,
-CRP
-EST
-Liver Function Tests
-Bile Acid Test
-Hormone Panel

Bigger Test:
-Gastric Empyting Test
-Upper and lower G.I.
-Colonscopy
-Video Capsule Endoscopy

If anyone has another vitamins/mineral/blood tests we should be tested for ( under different circumstances) that would be much appreciated!
