Hey Im new to this forum so bare with me....

I've had crohns disease for 5 years now and only had one op, since then I've not been admitted into hospital...yippee  but recently Im always bloated!!!! No matter what I eat, cut out of my diet, I look 9 months pregnant . I'm even having to undo my pants because it hurts to have them fastened. Also my bowel movements haven't been the best, I am having loose bowels quite frequently, but no drastic weight loss. Past 2 days, I have been feeling under the weather, feel so tired, grumpy, sickly, constantly bloated and going the loo few times. It doesn't feel like a flare up, but it is makinng me feel rubbish.

Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks xxx

Hi Sarah :welcome: to the forum! Alot of us feel bloated from time to time but to control my symptoms of bloat either Flagyl or hot water and drink it down. Are you on any meds now? Are you avoiding dairy and wheat? Could be a reaction to something you are eating.

I would go and see your Gi and see what he recommends. Also what country are you from? I am assuming Uk because they use rubbish and we don't . Many people here to give you an insight where you live. Take care and glad your joined our forum!

Hi,

I can get on that bloated train with you. I am BLOATED it seems like everyday.
I wake up in the morning fine, and within a few hours I am puffed out and it is uncomfortable. I eat oatmeal, or a Boost drink for breakfast, and I am pretty sure its not those that are causing this. Ive wondered if is my medication.
Pen: Does hot water really work? I have never heard of that, but I will try.
Sarah: I hope you find out why your bloated and start feeling more comfortable soon. I wish I had some answers, but I am in the same boat looking for answers too. I am so glad you brought this up!!

Take care

Hey I'm on azathioprine and pentasa. I do try and avoid dairy and wheat but it's just hopeless. Fed up now. Yeah I'm from the UK haha!

I think I'll have to give my nurse a visit xxxxx

Natalie, I hope you find a solution. I feel like putting a pin in my stomach and letting all the air out haha x

Hahaha it is an idea though, it's So uncomfy though. And trying to keep wind in infront of the other half is a skill x
