Anaemia - help

Picked up blood test results today. CRP normal. I am having trouble with my blood count. I presume my levels are a result of Imuran (Aziathropine) but what I don't understand is that if the levels are therapeutic but I am feeling anaemic should I continue with Imuran? My potassium is low also.

RBC - 3.74 (low)
MCV - 101.7 (high)
MCH - 35.7 (high)
Red blood cell distribution width - 14.1 (high)
Lymphocyte count -1.3 (low)

I think these are worse than my last bloods and I don't remember the last two.

I am at the hospital tomorrow. I have been having significant pain since Christmas and wonder whether it is related.

Hi Daisy123.
I've had anemia on and off aza. After a couple of years on iron pills it finally cleared up.

I didn't know aza could cause it. I'd recommed talking to the doc to see if oral iron is alright.
