Anal irrigation!!!

I have a partial anal prolapse but the doctors don't want to operate as i have this syndrome thing that means I find it really hard to poo unless it's loose.
So they want to give me this device that flushes out the poo every time I need to go, it's called 'Peristeen Anal Irrigation' and I was wondering if anyone had tried it?

yes i have used it , i was diagnosed with chronic constipation in 2007 and used if for 4 year pretty sucessfully , but then i started to have some pain in my ileum area so now i am having investigations !!
it turns out this bit of kit is pretty good as long as you have had your bowels large and small looked at as this can cause tears in the bowel ....
its a really good system just be aware of your own body whilst doing mine it acutaully caused a blockage as the water was pushing the poo back up !!
