I have been I'll with Crohns for over 40 years. Lately I have had a lot of bathroom issues. My bottom is very raw. I have been using hyrdrocortizone and a paste. It does not work effectively as I'm literally on the pot many times each AM. My problem is intimacy. Are you out there, those who can't be intimate with your husband because your bottom hurts too much????nPlease let me know what I might do or try to find a solution today. Medication change has aggregated my situation recently to this horrible degree. :sign0085:

have you talked to your GI or GI surgeon to have it checked to r/o any other problems?
I've been having a sore tush myself and I was checked to have inflammation and hemmrhoids so I was given a script ofr Cortifoam...a steroid enema that in foam form to alleviate the inflammation and soreness. I've seen a HUGE difference in the past several days. Definitely talk to your MD. good luck.

Ditto- I managed to get myself a fungal infection due to a fissure that wouldn't heal. A few days of Canesten Hydrocortizone cream and the fissure finally went.
