You know how they make those laptop desks / stands on wheels that are supposed to overhang a bed or chair? has anyone found one that works well in the bathroom? that would have the wheels and supports to the front instead of the side like most have (so it isn't too wide), and is height adjustable enough to be low enough to use while on the throne? Lately I am spending so much time in the bathroom I am falling behind on grading and planning, but trying to balance a lab desk is impossible when the cramping increases suddenly.

any ideas?

Do you have an o
ikea near you? They have all sorts plastic rolling tables and maybe one would meet your needs.

I'd worry about hygiene with something like this. I know lots of people read in the bathroom too, but it always makes me think - we wash our hands before leaving the bathroom for a reason, so surely anything we touch before washing our hands is at risk of getting very germy?

Sorry - maybe I'm just a hygiene freak.

Agree unxmas. Sometimes there isnt much choice. This probably isnt any more hygienic but I tell myself it is: use the book/table/tablet while using the toilet, put it down/away when done, then wipe, put the toilet seat down and flush. Wash hands then go touch the book/table/ tablet. I also sanitize with lysol the book etc 1x a week, more if needed.
