I woke up two days ago with painful lower gums.. I looked into the mirror and saw that my lingual frenulum, that muscle that attached the tongue to the bottom part of the mouth, was red (almost like a busted blood vessel) and extremely painful. Today it is still painful but not as red, however it looks like there is a little white ball on it, could this be crohns related? I have tried googling it but havent found much of anything on the frenulum. Maybe it is just torn, but now I can never be sure whats crohns related or not?!
