My daughter is having a tough time now and we are looking into every avenue. I am wondering if anyone else has been successful in getting a perscription for medical marijuana for their teenager?
My daughter is very resistant to the idea right now but I want to find out info anyway.

I am a 64 yr old grampa who has a 15 yr old grandson in the middle, hopefully on the down hill side, of a nasty flare. Stress is a big trigger for him. A thimble full of Tahoe OG twice a day does it for him. He was in remission for a year until his Mom found his stash of MJ. At that point we didn't know it was good for UC pain, cramping, and diarrhea. Thanksgiving day he was cramping and in lots of pain. He had passed some blood. I had been a MM patient for a few months due to an industrial accident that left me with significant nerve pain and two herniated disks in my neck. I recently quit the vicodin I had taken for several years. I had not told anyone about my use of MM. I told his Mom that I used MM and told her I had some smoke. He had been out of the hospital for only a week and a half since his flare landed him there and we did not want to revisit that scene. He used some and the pain relief was immediate as was relief from cramping. The bloody diarrhea ceased too. He got a good night's rest as a result. We got his MM card and he is leveling out and beginning to feel better. I'm sure the MM kept him out of the hospital. We haven't told the Medical Doctors about the MM use and it has not reacted with any of their prescriptions he takes daily. He Vaporizes twice a day and that really helps. Hope this answers some of your concerns.
