I have been having investigations for ibd but going back last year the consultant decided to remove my appendix as they believed that could be the problem.
When they performed the operation, the appendix was not inflamed or didn't seem to be infected however they did comment that there was a lot of scar tissue present, this was also confirmed when they sent it to the lab for testing...
My question is has anyone else experienced the same problems? They believe I have IBD but still trying to find inflammation
