Got Crohn's? Got Ice Cream? That might be bad as polysorbate-80 is a common food ingredient in things like ice cream (it's an emulsifier) and this research says that may be problematic. Conversely, broccoli and plantains may help inhibit relapse of Crohn's according to the article.

Hello, I have a question. My doctor prescribed me a vitamin supplement that contains polysorbate 40 as an inactive ingredient.

It also has 100 mg lactose, Methylparaben and some other crap.

I really want to take this supplement; but I'm worried about these inactive ingredients. Would they be dangerous in the long term? I'll be using the supplement daily for a very long time.

Thanks a lot in advance.

EDIT: Forget it. I just read these two articles (https://www.thepaleomom.com/nutrient-game-ways-to-up/ https://www.thepaleomom.com/nutrient-density/) and decided not to take the supplement. I just need to eat right.
