B12 vitamins....

Is it safe to just start taking a small mg pill of B12 or should I get my B12 checked out first? I saw B12 pills at this old lady's house and was surprised at how small a pill they are! Yay looks like something I could swallow lol. I've been thinking something is wrong with my B12 so just take it with my Lialda eventually or ask a doctor first?

Probably shouldn't start out at 1000mg? That's what the old lady had lol

I have tried to take the pills and they are very hard on my stomach. If you go to the GI and have your levels checked, they can give you B12 shots. That is what works best for me.

You can take B12 and it will not hurt you. B12 is water soluble, whatever your body does not need or will not use, you will just pee it out.
