Back to work!

Thirteen days post-op open bowel resection. Stopped by my work today (small clothing and jewelry boutique) to say hello to my coworkers. There was so much merchandise to check in that I decided to stay for three hours to help out. Fun. I'm on the schedule for this weekend, working 4 hour shifts.

Taking it slow, but have lots of energy. Sometimes hard to hold myself back, but certainly don't want a setback.

Oh, and I can eat such a wider variety of foods. Everything tastes so good.

I'm kind of excited.....can you tell? Ha!

Worked two days in a row - 5 hours each day. Exhausted after the first day, but fine the second day. Happy that I have three days off!

I've decided it will be a simpler Christmas this year with a lot less entertaining. I think I might even get out of putting up the tree. Never my favorite job.
