Whenever my tummy gets *upset* you can hear it. It sounds like a blender or something and I'm not sure if anyone else can see it, but I can see my stomach moving. It feels like the *ahem* fluids are moving at high speed back and forth through my intestines. Does anyone else experience this?

When I have diarrhea sure. My first GI once told me that when my intestines come across something it doesn't like it rejects that entire section. Doesn't even bother with it anymore and sends it on its way which for me usually results in diarrhea. Sometimes its gas that's moving at high speeds though. Why is that I'm really not sure. Maybe the intestines are rejecting that too. Also some people simply digest faster than others and you may not even have diarrhea.

If you come across any symptom that concerns you though you can always bring it up with your GI or GP even (sometimes) and ask them about it. Then you'll know right away if its anything to be concerned over. Try to stay hydrated if you do have diarrhea though.

Thanks for that explanation, Crabby. I've always wondered why I have such loud digestion. You've explained it better than my doctor.

Yes, some of the noises my belly would make when I was at my worst wow! Its woke people out of a dead sleep and it can be so embarrassing. Seems like my belly would pick the must inopportune moments to start up.
