I know that prior to my Crohn's getting really bad last year I suffered a lot of mouth ulcers and had to have two operations to sort things out. Recently, though, post-op, I have noticed a couple of "burn-like" marks in various areas of my skin.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? Should I be worried?

They are no where near that big. Though, I am quite worried now that I've seen those pics. Urgh.

They look like scars more than anything. You know, like grazes, that you get when you fall. They don't look serious, and aren't painful, but they've been there for a very long time, which is confusing me.

If you can't attribute them to a fall/injury, I would definitely go get them checked out... just to be on the safe side. On the off chance that it is something like PG or a staph infection it is just much better to get it looked at. Hope they start going away soon!

I'm wondering if you have something that I have, or have started to get. It's the skin going fragile and like turning over in bed or shifting the sleeve up the skin sheers off like carpet burn, it also starts to blister. It's call Epidermolysis Bullosa Aquisitas. Happens with crohns but very rare. I've just been sifting through these posts looking for anyone else has this. typically it happens in 4th or 5th decade.

Hi, my father was diagnosed with crohns last year. He has strange skin 'boils' which are painful and when they break they have pus and cause the whole area of skin to be swollen, he currently has a large 'boil' on his forehead and it has also swollen his entire forehead- does anyone experience this? Or know what could be causing these 'boils'?
