I have a lot of bloating now, and its accompanied by a lot of pain in my lower spine and hips, and I havent been able to go to the toilet a lot lately.

So, when is it serious to a degree where I shouldnt take the risk of waiting for my firts colonoscopy? (wich is due sometime the next 8 days, waiting for the insurance to book it)

It really feels like my pants are 2 sizes too small and it's hitting my back and hips as well as I said. (I have a prolapse in my L5/S1, a rather large one, could be inflammation is hitting on it?)

btw, could be relevant: I had the strangest urgling sounds from my stomach yesterday, and they went on for half an hour. Feels better after a bout of that when it happends. And no, I'm not talking about your common stomach noises, I am talking about long series of....gurgling. It feels and sounds like air passing trough liquid at a really narrow spot.

Hi xray,
Sorry to hear of your discomfort.
The time for an emergency room visit is when you feel it is needed and judging from your symptoms it might be an idea to pay them a visit.
It can be hard for us to make these decisions, but if you feel the discomfort is beyond
your tolerance limit then it is time to go to the ER.
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes

The gurgling is a sign of your bowel working overtime, but it sounds like its working to clear you. You mention your colonoscopy coming up in 8 days. They will really need to give you a good prep for that. (my heart goes out to you)

Sounds like you are really clogged up. I would hope that the GI will give you something to keep you moving. Bowels that are that blocked up are dangerous, and can become an emergency in a big hurry. So if you experience alot of pain, yes get yourself to the ER.
