Blood in the stool?

The stool was or the blood was larger than a dime? If you're talking about the stool, then I'd say YES!!! But, if it's the blood I'll have a few more questions for you...

I would ask them about it tomorrow. Do you regularly get any blood with your bm's? If not, I would also ask them. I'd think that the blood would mean there's some inflammation somewhere. But, not panic mode quite yet.

I get blood off and on with my ulcerative proctitis along with some dripping blood. Mine will come mostly from stress or something I ate. I don't like it. But, it's something I have to keep a watch on and if I pass too much then it's time to contact my doctor.

I'd keep a watch on that blood though Ron. If you get continued dripping blood or are loosing too much blood, then I wouldn't hesitate to call. But, otherwise I'm just thankful to hear that you'll be going in tomorrow anyway. I hope this helps some. Xxxx

Thanks. I had bloodwork done yesterday. The PA from the infectious disesase doctor's office told me that my inflammation level was in the medium range of normal.

Ron,
Other than the post, how are things going for you? Didn't you just have a surgery? My memory isn't what it used to be. I spent half of March in the hospital so I sort of lost track of people.
I can only hope that your inflammation remains in the normal range and that you get some time to heal a little.

My GI doc told me I'm in remission as they don't see any active inflammation on my most current MRE. He still can't figure out the chronic D or the pain in my left side. I guess I can save all that for the Mayo later this summer.

Best regards,
Mike

ps. I get blood when I wipe. I am sure it's from a fissure.
