Hey guys,

I was wondering what your normal BP sits around. Mine I feel is VERY low(90/60), but my doctors never say a word to me about it. Even when I was in my Remicade injection a year ago and it dropped lower than my already low (84/51). They didn't do anything and said as long as the bottom number was above 50 and top above 90 I was okay (I was like 1 point away). I don't get it.

I was just wondering what other Crohnies BPs were. Are you low, high, or average?

I will note that when I'm in remission my BP is higher at the 100s-110s/60s-70s

were you sitting or lying down when they took it and it was that low? it does tend to be alot lower when lying down because the heart has to work much less than if you are sitting or standing which could be the reason. when i was in the hospital mine stayed at about 90/55 - 100/65.. it's not really a huge deal as long as you aren't fainting and could actually be a good thing considering your heart isn't working as hard.. athletes have lower pulses and pressures than most people.

Ya my normal is around the same when I was at my old weight. Since my weight gain it has gone up to about 100/60 from 90/50.

BP can be that low if it is normal for it to be that low. Mine is 90/50 -100/60 consistently when I am not ill. Ya I wouldn't worry about it unless you are normally 120/80 then you suddenly drop to that low.

Mine shot up from pred in January, and I needed Metoprolol for a rapid resting HR of 120bpm....now BP is around 110 over 70, and it still used to be lower, ever since this flare up, it's been all outta whack. Stress and anxiety are probably culprits.

My BP is usually around 110/68. The lowest I recall is 96/53. My pulse is always high between 90-100. I don't remember it ever being below 90, but it has gone as high as 133.

When I am at my worst my blood pressure goes down and my pulse goes up.

i can't remember exactly what my BP is, but it's pretty low. It always freaks the nurses out. My heart rate is 40-45 bpm.
