Bright green stool?

Hello.

After having my MRI, it seems as most of the areas with Crohn's aside from my sigmoid colon is in remission as in there's no trace of visible inflammation. But the past few nights I've had bad stomach cramps and gas, and last night I had to use the restroom five times within the span of two hours. And when I went, although I feel it's TMI, it's been bright green diarrhea. I'm not quite sure of the reasoning of this, although I've had it multiple times before. So it's nothing new. I'm also dropping weight quite rapidly and I'm exhausted all the time. I'm down to 89 pounds when I used to be 100. I also have Gastroparesis and SIBO, if that could be contributing to it. If anyone could fill me in as to what this means, that'd be really helpful. My GI doctor doesn't think I need an appointment for a couple months, either.

The green is bile. Bile will show up green in stool when things are moving so fast that proper digestion is not happening.

Are you taking meds for your gastroparesis?

No, I'm not. I'm quite confused on how things can be moving too fast though if I have delayed gastric emptying. That's so odd...

That's why I asked. That confuses me too. If you were on meds, I was going to say that maybe the dose was too high.

Green stool can also be caused by something you ate, but since you are having diarrhea, my first thought is bile.
