I'm not sure what's going on...

A few weeks ago I was admitted to the hospital due to not eating and horrible pain between my stomach and belly button. I was released without a clear prognosis...they didn't know if I was obstructed, it was ulcers, a cyst or my Crohn's...or possible low potasim

I left on Cimzia (400 mg every 4 weeks), tapering off of Prednisone (20 mg right now), Nexium for ulcers and Percocet for the pain.

It took me over a week to go farther than the couch..I still don't go far from it but feel a tad more comfortable leaving the house...

I've noticed the last few days that there has been this terrible burning behind my belly button...and I haven't been doing my "normal" bathroom routine (which is all the time it seems)...I'm afraid of an obstruction...I've never experienced this kind of burning before...

I truly fear the hospital (I hate being admitted) and at times I feel the Dr just gives me a pill to shut me up...

Has anyone else experienced this kind of burning? I don't know if it's just the combination of meds or I'm becoming constipated or if something is seriously wrong...

UPDATE: !!!

Figured out the burning sensation was from me not going to the restroom enough. I must have eaten something that was a little to heavy for my insides and it slowed it down. After some warm tea and rest the "burning" feeling started to lessen the more I went to the bathroom.

Thank God it's hopefully just that. I'll still keep a listen just in case but I'm glad no hospital visit is needed...:)

Do you have Ileal Crohn's?

When my son was flaring and had active inflammation in his ileum and terminal ileum he mainly experienced pain around his navel and at times extending down into right lower quadrant. He generally described the pain as burning and sometimes with a feeling of tightness.

I hope it settles soon!
