C Diff diagnosis

I was just diagnosed with C Diff today. Does anyone know if I should stay home from work for a few days? I'm taking Flagyl for 10 days. Thanks.

Hello there! I don't personally have experience with c. diff, but I hope someone replies who does. In the meantime, we also have a support group for people who have it.

When one of my students had it recently, she was hospitalized and then kept from school/public for a week. I guess it would depend on the severity of it. Definitely a question to ask the dr.

How is it diagnosed

By a stool sample.
