c diff...help!

I got my remicade on Tuesday. I usually feel great after and have normal bms but this time immediately after I've had horrible d. Everytime I eat, literally as soon as i swallow it down I'm running to thd bathroom! I'm throwing up again and i have the same horrible pain I had when I had c diff! My Dr sent me for blood work and stool sample today I am praying its not c diff again! I feel miserable. For those who have had c diff did you have it come back? What were your symptoms? I'm even back to having accidents, that's how bad the d is! I've never felt like this after remicade and its so scary to think it could be back

I have no words of wisdom for you...but I wanted to say I hope it's not C diff again and you feel better quickly !

I don't have any advice except the usual. Wash your hands super thoroughly, bleach your bathroom, wash everything in hot water, and most importantly, take a probiotic and eat some yogurt.

Fingers crossed it's not C. diff (although that might mean it's something not so easily treated). Hope you feel better.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I hope i hear something today and its not c diff but I'm worried it is NVIDIA am progressively getting worse..back to 20 times in the bathroom! Ahhhh

I had c diff 2 times. First time after antibiotic use in a hospital, second time 2 month’s later it came back. I was very surprised second time, as my dria and pain was not the same - a lot less and did not look and smell the same. Flagyl for 30 days took care of it. I also took pro biotic called Healthy Trinity while taking Flagyl and for 30 more days after.

I have not had c diff come back, but I did have a hard time getting over it. I know it is horrible I hope you do not have it again, but I have heard that once you get it you are more likely to get it again. :hang: Sorry you are going through this!
