Changing an Ostomy Bag when Drunk

This morning, huh? Must have been one hell of a night! Glad to hear the bag hasn't slowed you down:)

I sort of remember my 18th birthday. I was absolutely out of it after my mates stitched me up. I was carried home from the pub - woke up the whole neighbourhood and then crashed on the sofa. My mum came down to find me half cut on the sofa and all my mates worried they had killed me! And then apparently my bag started to leak. My best mate and mum got me upstairs to the bathroom and then I remember my mum trying to change my bag with me (so she told me the next morning) not being any help at all! I have vague memories of mum losing her temper with me and me laughing and singing at her!

I think you need to be able to laugh at these things and it was an easy way for all mates to find out about the bag as many of them didn't know beforehand!

Keep smiling!

Ha! I did it once when I was a bit tipsy and it was definitely a challenge. Considering how difficult I find it to empty it when I'm truly drunk, I can't IMAGINE changing it!
