Last time I did this I took drank the koolaid so to speak about an hour ahead of schedule and I ended up getting very little sleep due to the insomnarrhea.
But that's not all. With the Fleet you go through two rounds of bathroom trips and pray that the second round ends before your trip to the clinic. (They don't ask when you will be leaving your house either when they tell you to take the second dose the morning of your prep)
That was that Fleet stuff that got discontinued. Yipeee.
This time they gave me Halflytely.
I don't trust a bowel prep with the word "Fly" in it. There is nothing fly about a bowel prep.
It said on the box that you would continue to have BMs one to two hours after you drink the juice. I don't believe it not for a minute. I bet they don't make that sort of a determination based on its effects in Crohn's patients.
I was told to drink the juice at 6 pm, but I drank it at 2 and sure enough six hours later things are still going a bit.
I'm hoping doc will know more about if I need surgery or not after he takes a peek. I don't feel that sick but he thinks it's a serious situation and I am assuming that he means the Crohn's and not that he thinks it's still possibly cancer. I was too chicken to ask if that was still a possibility with my tumor.
Here's a clear liquid toast to "No dysplasia" on the biopsy report.
