This week,my stomach has really been messed up. I have been really emotional sometimes too. Is this part chemical thing?

There have been some studies linking how the body deals with serotonin, and it's different when there is gut inflammation or changes to gut bacteria. I don't really understand it (I don't think the scientists fully understand it yet either) but long story short, there does seem to be a link between gut issues and emotions/depression. I'm definitely the same way when my guts are acting up, I get super emotional and cry at anything and everything. So don't feel bad about it, it's likely just another symptom and it's something that you don't have a lot of control over. Once things get more controlled belly-wise, your emotions should also get more under control. That's usually how it works for me.

Cat, does this mean that the Crohn's is acting up instead of the IBS? I have been having chronic diarrhea this week along with what could be some blood. I have been told twice last year that I was in remission and it was IBS that was affecting me.

It sure could be the Crohn's, especially if you are bleeding. That's not typically a symptom of IBS (but could be due to a hemorrhoid, or to Crohn's). If it were me, I'd definitely ask for more testing and/or a second opinion. I wouldn't just accept that it's IBS. You know your body best, you know when things aren't right. I say get it checked out.

Cat, I called and my last enterography showed a little active inflammation. I am supposed to go on Entocort and see a specialist .

Oh wow, because i question whether I am flaring and I have been an absolute bear. My tolerance level for people is zero!
