Clear liquid/foamy bowel movements

What in the world is going on??

I have been on 60 mg of prednisone for a little over a week after a second colonscopy that confirmed my Crohn's diagnosis.

For the past 2 days, I've had great bowel movements... solid, and only 2-3 a day compared to soft/mushy/liquid AT LEAST 5-6 per day before that. The urgency is still there, but I'll take what I can get.

All of a sudden this afternoon, I felt some pain and extreme urgency, and in the last 3 hours have had to go to the bathroom about 10 times... but each time is just a little bit of clear foamy liquid and a lot of gas. But it's not even mucus - just foam and liquid. It's also leaking sometimes.

My lower abdomen is rumbling like crazy and I'm feeling a lot of crampy/pinching pain but as badly as pain I've had in the past.

This is gross and scary. Anybody ever experienced this?!

Hi i used to get foamy sometimes , i never found out why but i thought it was bc i was very gassy and the air made it foamy.. now i could be wrong.. but i cant say it caused my any trouble b4 i had ileostomy or after. you say about leaks do you have a pouch that is leaky ?. sending best wishes, n im sure some else will maybe have an answer, then we might both be enlightened :blush::ysmile:
