i dislike this time very much. i live to despise drugs and that stuff they use to put me to sleep messes me up bad. its like i wake up in an epic 4 year olds temper tantrum when they're out of candy. lol

I know...it isn't easy. The prep for me is the worst! No matter how hard I try, I just can't keep that stuff down!

Is this a routine colonoscopy or are you having issues? Regardless, I wish you luck!!

Yea i hate that stuff too. and the clear liquid diet makes it worse. its my 6 month routine check up

I had my first, and at this time my last, colonoscopy with my first episode. It was how they diagnosed the UC.
I had been told it would be painless. Was it *** ! Even on Tramadol and with their sedative I was in absolutely agony the entire time which meant they had to finish before going the whole way

I hope yours are not like that and I am hoping that mine was that bad because my colon was so inflamed at the time and perhaps it will hurt less next time

hey cory,i feel your pain,i just had another colonoscopy last week,been about 5 in total but id rather have that than the endoscopy,anyhoo i hate the klean-prep stuff they issue,3 sachets of pure filth,ive now started asking for picolax or fleet as its only a wee bottle of liquid and you take it with one glass of water and hey prest your pissing out yer back end all day(next person to any me im dropping this in there drink haha)i usualy get the sedation but im fine with it,sleep for hours when i get home whoo hooo.i actualy got good news from this one that my disease is now only a wee bit and its in the back passage so hopefully no op and removal of my bowel and a bag to replace it
on another note hows sacramento??my wifes uncle now lives there after moving there from glasgow,jammy sod he's missing all this glorious freezing cold weather haha,anyhoo hope all goes well and you get good news.
