Hi there everyone,
My partner of two and a half yrs has crohns. It took him a little while to tell me he has it(honestly didn't mind). I always let him speak about it if it's bothering him or if he's in pain etc. The reason I'm on here is to get more of an insight into a life with crohns. He's in hospital at the moment after getting a severe infection and has surgery to remove it. He's on a nutrition drip since last Wednesday and has now been told he can have shakes. He has lost a stone in the week(a stone he badly needed to keep) & I'm really worried. Can anyone give me on advice on what to expect during his recovery or any tips on how to help him when he comes home from hospital. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to push people for information in a situation like this as I know he has enough to be dealing while recovering, he's also been told he will need to have a colonoscopy before he leaves hospital. They have told him he's healing well from where they removed the infection. Basically any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
