Hello, I'm new here and thought I would ask for a bit of help. I'm 26 years of age and have been diagnosed with Crohn's for 8 years. As of recently in October of last year I have started Remicade. Last week for Mother's Day I was in the Er because for a week I had been experiencing painful bowel movements, severe stomach cramping only 2 weeks after my remicade appointment. For the past 3 infusions I've been having reactions. I was told last week that I had a small flare up due to an UTI. They sent me home on 60mg of prednisone for a week then to go down to 40. Also they gave me some tramadol for the pain.

Last night I felt like I was wetting myself and when I want to the bathroom I noticed my thighs were soaked with blood. I had my period 2 weeks ago so I didn't want to freak out. Cleaned myself up and went back into bed. But it was constantly happening and I must have gone to the restroom about 7 times last night cleaning up blood. At that point I was confused because I couldn't tell if it was coming from my front or backside. As of right now the blood is constantly leaking like a steady heavy drip. And I'm definitely sure I'm leaking from my backside. I'm having bright red blood in the stool.

I have a stomachache that comes and goes but the blood is just pouring out very heavy. Has anyone experience this and what was the outcome.

I should let you know that I've had 9 blood transfusions and the past couple of one's I've had reactions to the transfusions. At this point I want them to find what's wrong and take it out because my life is constant pain and I can't really enjoy my life.

Go to the ER now!
I had a similar but slightly different experience. I had abscess surgery and two days later I started bleeding out of my rectum and couldn't stop it. I ended up back in the hospital and had to have transfusions to replace the blood I had lost.

I agree. Please don't wait. It's sounds like way to much blood to ignore.
Please let us know how things go.Sending support.
