Doesn't sounds like the perfect combination i know lol but i have a ticket bought for a 4 day tent festival in july and i was looking for any advice on how to cope. Anyone been in a similar situation before? any quick fixes to help prevent accidents or are they inevitable with the length queues will be for the toilets? :S
thanks

Always carry around a roll of toilet roll, spare underwear, that hand sanitiser stuff that doesn't need any water and some baby wipes.

Also I found that getting into the main festival area as soon as they open is very handy. Most people are still asleep in their tents and you can get to the (clean!) toilets before everyone else.

I was really afraid of going due to the toilet situation but I actually loved it. Luckily I went to one of the festivals that actually have flushing toilets in cabins in the main festival area which made things a lot nicer.

Have fun!

Thanks for the advice and quick replies. Great to see people have survived this ordeal :D lol

I went to the V Festival in 2007 and it was fab!
But the toilets are horrendous! There was no way I could queue, when you gotta go, you gotta go NOW!
I went to the toilet in my tent, in a Tesco bag, used wipes, then threw it in the skip, simples!
Sorry, that sounds gross, but it worked for me!

Take your own mini chemical toilet?! I love festivals, havent been to one for ages though.
Hope you have a great time, try not to stress about the toilets too much, it'll only make it worse! X

Haha great to know im not the only one who has been in that situation before. Wouldnt gross me out in the slightest just dont think my friends would approve too much of me shitting myself in our tent.. I will have to get working on improving their views before july haha

I haven't been to a concert since I was diagnosed and I can imagine how horrible I would feel if I had a flare up in the middle of one. The port-ti-potty's aren't very desirable.

take a bucket or the chemical loo and go in that,or stock up on wine bottle corks lol
have a good one....
