Crohns and polycthaemia

does any body else on this forum have crohns aswell as polycthaemia would be greatful to here from others.thanks laura

Hi Laura,

So it sounds like they diagnosed what was going on with your mom's "thickened blood?" Do you have any more information about you mom's polycythemia? I know it can be caused by different things. Do they know what is causing hers and how they are going to treat it?

I do not have any personal experience with polycythemia, but as I understand it once it's found and treated it can be fairly manageable.

Hopefully somebody who has experience with it will be able to share their thoughts with you. In the mean time there have been a lot of replies to your other threads and you should check them out, I know you were waiting to hear back from the people here.
